Delete Your Account

Use this page to request deletion of your ExpenseEye account and associated data.

How To Request Account Deletion

  1. Send a deletion request email from your registered account email to eyeexpense@gmail.com.
  2. Use the subject line Delete My ExpenseEye Account and include your account email and, if available, your Appwrite user ID.
  3. We may ask for identity verification before processing deletion to protect your account from unauthorized requests.

Data Deleted With Account Deletion

  • Account identity data (name, email, authentication profile).
  • User-generated finance data, including profiles, accounts, transactions, budgets, bills, goals, recurring items, categories, and referral-linked records.
  • Associated user preferences and non-essential app metadata.

Data That May Be Retained

  • Minimal security, fraud-prevention, operational, and legal-compliance logs may be retained for up to 90 days.
  • Billing-related records may be retained for required tax/accounting compliance periods where applicable.

Delete Some Data Without Deleting Account

You can remove specific data from inside the app (for example, profiles, accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, and other entries) while keeping your account active.
